The four search functions explained
With the "Verify product" search function, users can query a GTIN to check the identification of the product. The service returns information to answer the question "Is this product what I think it is?".
With the "Verify GLN" search function, users can query a GLN to verify the identification of the company or location. The service returns the information to answer the question: "Is this entity or location what I think it is?".
With the search function "Verify other GS1 Keys", users can query any other GS1 identification key (SSCC, GRAI, GDTI, etc.) to verify the information about the licensee of the GS1 key.
With the "Verify company" search function, users can search for a company name and country to find relevant licenses and license information about a GS1 member company. The service returns the information to answer the question: "Does this company have a valid GS1 license?"
